The Vïdé Tier System
The Vïdé™ tier system is the result of extensive research and development aimed at creating evaluation standards for goalkeepers. As a complement to your coach's continuous examination of your progress, Vïdé™ tiers boldly symbolize stages of your development by introducing progressive degrees of skill and achievement. Armbands with designated colors display your Vïdé™ badge whether making your entrance or recuperating between matches.
Tōtum Awards
Our Tōtum™ system also introduces special recognitions reflecting the multifaceted roles that a well-rounded (or “whole”) goalkeeper contributing to family, team, and community. Earning and displaying Tōtum™ badges motivate holistic development. Integrated as part of the Vïdé™ armbands, you can display your accomplishments made on and off the pitch.
Leadership

Clean Sheet
A rare accolade for a Goalkeeper who achieves the extraordinary feat of not allowing a single goal during the tournament.

The Vïdé Platform
Get the recognition you deserve.
When first joining IAGK™, you have two options for entering the Vïdé™ recognition platform. You should select the tier that best represents your current goalkeeping environment: Recreational or Competitive. The Vïdé™ armband produced for you will correspond to that tier by the color and Vïdé™ badge that you display.
RECREATIONAL: Green armband with the one-star patch in the center.
COMPETITIVE: Blue armband with the two-star patch in the center.
We document your progress and signal your capabilities.
Beginning in August, IAGK™ members can submit applications for recognition at higher tiers through the member portal. As your training and experience prepare you for the next tier in the Vïdé platform, we'll be ready to validate your progress and celebrate your status. IAGK™ evaluation applications can be submitted at any time during your goalkeeping journey. You'll get step-by-step instructions on how to submit your application through the Vïdé platform portal to ensure your materials (e.g., coach recommendations and videos/images) capture your current capabilities and progress aligned with the Vïdé tier standards.
Who decides if your application merits promotion?
The Vïdé platform is built on objective evaluations from two or more coaches who review your application and return their feedback to you (and IAGK™). For those applications receiving consensus support of the coach reviewers, a new armband with the appropriate color and Vïdé patch are sent to you to signal your new status.
The Vïdé™ platform and portal will open in January 2025 with 18-Yard Club™ members prioritized for evaluation.

NOTES:
1. The Vïdé evaluations are fee-based ($75 per application) to compensate the coaches while contributing to the costs associated with the digital platform and the armbands.
2. The outside ring is reserved for Tōtum award patches that are earned over time by submitting evidence of achievement via the IAGK™ portal. Tōtum awards are evaluated similarly by IAGK™ staff at a fee of $25 per application.
